With a bachelor of Education degree from the University of Alberta, Joyce returned to school and received her Juris Doctor from the University of Manitoba in 2018. Joyce was born and raised on a mixed grain and cattle farm in Northern Alberta. Her farming background has shaped her into the hardworking, self-motivated and determined individual she is today. This experience compliments her ability to handle a wide variety of complex legal matters. Joyce is ready to assist clients in residential and commercial real estate transactions, corporate matters, commercial transactions, estate planning and estate administration. Because of her farming roots, she also has an interest in oil and gas law with a focus on Gross Royalty Trust applications. Outside of Joyce’s work schedule, her main priority is spending time with her family. She also enjoys running, biking, and camping.
